Creating Roles and Granting to User in Order Management

Here, I’m going to discuss how to create Roles and Granting that Role to particular User in Order Management Responsibility

Navigate to Order Management Super User Responsibility à Setup  à Shipping  à Grants and Role Definition à Define Roles

Shipping Execution Role Definition window opens. Here, I’m going to create a Clerk Role.

Type Name as Clerk, Description as Shipping Clerk.

In the Trips tab, Select Edit in the Data Access LOV and Click Disable all. Select the Check box as required.

In the Stops tab, Select Edit in the Data Access LOV and Click Disable all. Select the Check box as required.

In the Deliveries tab, Select Edit in the Data Access LOV and Click Disable all. Select the Check box as required.

In the Lines / LPNs tab, Select Edit in the Data Access LOV and Click Disable all. Select the Check box as required.

Save the Record.

Now, Navigate to Order Management Super User Responsibility à Setup  à Shipping  à Grants and Role Definition à Grants

Select the User Name to whom you want to assign the Shipping Clerk role.

Select the Role as Clerk. If you want to assign it to particular Organization, select the Org otherwise leave the Org as blank. Select Start Date and Save the Record.
